Full Contour Posterior Crown
Lithium Disilicate has become one of the most trusted ceramic materials in modern restorative dentistry due to its unique combination of strength and aesthetics.
Natural-Looking Restorations
The ceramic reproduces the translucency and light diffusion of natural teeth, creating restorations that blend seamlessly with adjacent dentition.
High Mechanical Strength
With a flexural strength of approximately 400 MPa, Lithium Disilicate provides excellent resistance to chewing forces while maintaining long-term durability.
Conservative Tooth Preparation
The material allows for thinner restorations without compromising strength, helping preserve more natural tooth structure.
CAD/CAM Precision
Designed specifically for digital workflows, the block offers precise milling, excellent marginal adaptation, and consistent clinical outcomes.
Long-Term Stability
Lithium Disilicate demonstrates excellent resistance to staining, wear, and aging, maintaining both appearance and performance over time.
How It Works
The UP.CAD C14 LT block is designed for use in CAD/CAM digital dentistry workflows.
1. Digital Scanning
The prepared tooth is scanned using an intraoral or laboratory scanner to create a precise digital model.
2. CAD Design
Dental CAD software is used to design the restoration, ensuring optimal anatomy, occlusion, and marginal fit.
3. Milling
The restoration is milled directly from the UP.CAD Lithium Disilicate block using a compatible CAD/CAM milling machine.
4. Crystallization
Following milling, the restoration is crystallized in a ceramic furnace at approximately 840–850°C. During this process, the material reaches its final shade, translucency, and full mechanical strength of approximately 400 MPa.
5. Finishing
After crystallization, the restoration can be stained, glazed, polished, and adjusted according to the patient's clinical requirements.
6. Final Cementation
The completed restoration is bonded or cemented to the prepared tooth using the appropriate adhesive or resin cement protocol.
UP.CAD Lithium Disilicate Ceramic Blocks are engineered to deliver exceptional aesthetics, strength, and manufacturing precision for modern digital dentistry. Whether used in dental laboratories or chairside CAD/CAM systems, they provide reliable milling performance, predictable crystallization, and restorations that closely replicate the beauty and function of natural teeth.
The combination of advanced ceramic technology, superior optical properties, and proven mechanical performance makes the UP.CAD C14 LT Lithium Disilicate Ceramic Block an excellent solution for producing high-quality single crowns and other aesthetic restorations with confidence.
