DSI Snap-On Angulated Concave Transfers have a patented design No: US 10,603,139 B2. They are unique and made especially for taking impressions of 15 ° or 25 ° and acting as final restoration abutments when needed. Perfect for non-parallel implant alignment cases when different abutment angles are required for restoration parallelism.
These transfers are intended for the closed tray technique, allowing fast impression-taking without the need to cut or modify the standard tray. This technique greatly reduces the overall chair time both for you and your patient.
They can be used for single-tooth restorations, bridges, partial dentures, complete dentures, and more. They are made out of high-quality titanium grade 5 instead of stainless steel. The concave collar is anatomically adapted to the gums, creates an optimal emergence profile, and increases the aesthetics all at once. All these features allow DSI Angulated Concave Transfers to be used as impression copings and as permanent restoration abutments as one.
The snap-on cap allows much easier impression-taking than ever and provides outstanding precision. Due to the special snap-on Delrin® (acetal) plastic cap, the final impression can be sent to the laboratory with the metal abutment part for producing the final restoration, or without it. The metal part can be acquired by the laboratory and it will be compatible with the cap in the original impression. Such a technique saves a great amount of time and work, allows you to make a temporary restoration with the metal abutment part, and grants perfectly accurate results for the final restoration.
